Although it is a work of fiction, this novel will leave you wondering if it all really happened that way. The author blended history with imagination to tell a story from a very unique perspective, at least for the American reader. The reader is taken along on a "ride" in WWII Germany with members of the Luftwaffe on a mission that is so secret not even the Fuhrer knew about it. The author's knowledge of and experience with aircraft provides a large measure of realism to the story. It leaves the reader wanting more from this writer.
I met Joel Strait while flying with some local pilots where he lives in Pt St Joe FL.....He'e the real deal. This book took some fascinating twists and turns....really enjoyed it!
